Whilst Pershore is known nationally as a Georgian town of great importance, each age has obviously left its mark.  During the sixty-four years of Victoria's reign, Pershore, along with almost everywhere else in the country, expanded and progressed, probably as never before.

If you would like the opportunity to increase flexibility, build strength and learn dance sequences to music from the past and present, look no further.  Our Chance to Dance courses are still going from strength to strength and we are now booking for the Autumn term with an extra class running on Tuesdays.

Worcestershire Camera Club

The Worcestershire Camera Club staged a very successful exhibition at Number 8 in 2006, and are once again exhibiting current work from members of this long established club. The Club members embrace all aspects of photography to produce their images, whether this is by traditional methods, by using the latest digital technology or a fusion of the two.

In Bruges (18)

Brendan Gleason and Colin Farrell star as two hit-men sent to the Belgian city of Bruges to lie low after a job gone wrong.  Ken (Gleason) makes the most of his enforced ‘holiday' by sightseeing and learning about the city but Ray (Farrell) can't help brooding on his part in the botched hit until he strikes up a relationship with local girl Chloe (Clemency Poesy).  This unlikely but hilarious crime comedy is fast paced and darkly witty having been written and directed by Irish playwright Martin MacDonagh.  Also starring Ralph Fiennes.Event details »

Caramel is a deliciously indulgent and intimate account of five women working together in a beauty parlour. Beautiful Layal is oblivious to the gaze of a local admirer and instead fixates on a married man. Nisrine will soon be married but is afraid her fiancé will discover he isn't her first lover. Rima has designs on one of her stunning, dark-haired customers. Jamal is an aspiring actress and is refusing to grow old, while ageing Rose is overwhelmed when she discovers true-love for the first time.

Voluntary Position          

Number 8 are looking for a creative, energetic and responsible young person (16 years old and above) to work alongside our Youth Theatre Leader to deliver weekly drama classes for 7-11 year olds and/or 12+ year olds.
